Arshia is appointed a Charter Member of the TiE

In March 2009, Arshia was appointed a Charter Member of the TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) Toronto. TiE Toronto is a chapter of TiE Global, and has 55 Charter Members and over 300 regular members. TiE Toronto Charter Membership comprises of leading entrepreneurs in Canada, venture capitalists and other private equity providers, investment professionals and senior professionals in the fields of Law, Accounting, Corporate Finance, IT, etc. Among other events, TiE Toronto organizes the renowned TiEQuest Business Venture Competition, annual business venture competition held in Toronto to encourage entrepreneurship, engage emerging entrepreneurial talent, and to foster the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) was founded in Silicon Valley in 1992 by successful entrepreneurs and professionals with roots in the Indus region. Today, TiE has 53 Chapters in 12 countries, spread across 5 continents. The TiE ecosystem comprises 11,000 members and 2,500 charter members, who are the top entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, lawyers and management professionals in their chosen field. TiE is today the world’s largest non-profit organization promoting entrepreneurship.
